Role Overview
The Infrastructure Lead/Manager will oversee and manage multiple infrastructure programs, ensuring operational excellence, security, and scalability. This role requires strong leadership, technical expertise, and the ability to manage complex activities across desktop administration, server infrastructure, CMDB, DevOps, and network/security operations.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage Desktop & Admin – Oversee Active Directory and O365 support, ensuring timely resolution of AutoTask tickets, VDI creations and decommissions, and AVD decommissions. Exposure to use of AI for Automated ticket triage & resolution suggestions, Log & event analysis for AD and O365, AI‑driven VDI/AVD lifecycle automation and User provisioning/deprovisioning bots
- Supervise Configuration Management Database (CMDB) – Ensure daily CI assignments, reduce stale tasks, manage RITM requests, validate Azure cloud discovery schedules, and oversee cleanup of duplicate Cis. Exposure to use AI-based CI classification & enrichment, Duplicate CI detection (ML-based fuzzy matching) Predictive stale-task detection & Continuous Discovery Anomaly Detection
- Lead Server & Infrastructure – Monitor backups, daily checks, manage Autotask tickets, oversee server builds/upgrades, and monitor SCOM alerts. Exposure to use of AI for Predictive backup failure detection, AI-driven daily health check summaries, Intelligent SCOM alert correlation and Automated server build scripts using AI-generated IaC
- Ensure compliance and health in Infrastructure Storage and VMware – Maintain ESXi patch compliance, monitor Commvault backups jobs, review Intersight health checks and validate storage capacity reports. Exposure to use of AI for ESXi patch compliance prediction, Commvault backup anomaly detection, VM performance analytics and Storage utilization forecastin
- Drive Information Security initiatives – Develop Azure DevOps pipelines for Kubernetes clusters, integrate security posture management, and implement compliance and vulnerability checks. AI-assisted Azure DevOps pipeline creation, Security policy-as-code generation, Kubernetes workload scanning & remediation recommendations and IAM & permissions anomaly detection
- Oversee DevOps – Manage user stories for pipeline creation for applications, implement Terraform for NonProd environments, and resolve build pipeline issues. AI Auto-generation of Terraform modules, Pipeline failure diagnostics, IaC drift detection and ChatOps for CI/CD
- Manage Network and Security Operations – Oversee SecOps ticket, ThreatConnect cases, NetOps tasks including OpManager support, Python automation enhancements, SOP documentation, vWAN/Terraform deployments, monitoring dashboards, and automation initiatives with ServiceNow APIs. AI assisted Threat detection & enrichment, Log analytics for NetOps, Automated change documentation (SOP generation), Network topology inference and ServiceNow automation
Required Skills & Qualifications
- 12–15 years of experience in IT infrastructure and project management.
- Proven expertise in data center migrations, cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP), networking, and enterprise infrastructure.
- Certifications such as PMP, ITIL, PRINCE2, or AWS/Azure Cloud certifications are highly desirable.
- Experience in budget planning, cost optimization, and resource allocation for infrastructure initiatives.
- Solid knowledge of cybersecurity principles, disaster recovery, and high-availability infrastructure system solutions.
- Excellent communication, leadership, and stakeholder management skills.
- Hands-on experience with project management tools (Jira, MS Project, ServiceNow).
- Ability to work in fast-paced environments, handling multiple projects simultaneously.
- Experience with tools like AutoTask, Jira, MS Project, ServiceNow, or similar project tracking tools.
Preferred Qualifications
- Exposure to DevOps, automation, and Infrastructure as Code (IaC) methodologies.
- Certifications such as PMP, ITIL, PRINCE2, or AWS/Azure Cloud certifications are highly desirable.
- Knowledge of hybrid cloud strategies and emerging infrastructure technologies.
